If the Candlelight concerts take place in the most beautiful places in the capital, they have recently taken over a very special new place where music can almost rub shoulders with the stars: the Brussels planetarium.
Located on the Heysel plateau, very close to the Atomium, the planetarium is an integral part of the Brussels Observatory. Daily, this place welcomes visitors who come to discover the starry sky projected on a 360° screen 23 meters in diameter or to observe the launch of a rocket, life in the International Space Station and many other wonders of space. But the planetarium also organizes exhibitions, conferences, meetings with astronauts, and even concerts.

A candlelight concert under the 840m2 dome
Indeed, the Candlelight concerts recently took up residence in the planetarium to offer live music under a galaxy of stars thanks to the dome of the building which measures no less than 840m2. On the program in this magical atmosphere, on November 16 a concert which will feature music from the most famous anime Japanese films from Miyasaki to One Piece and a concert Tribute to composer Hanz Zimmerthen on November 30 a concert film music compilation like “James Bond” or even “Indiana Jones” and finally a concert Tribute to the group ABBA.
