Canal Solar, in partnership with Crea-SP (Regional Engineering and Agronomy Council), will hold, on the 24th and 25th of October, the second edition of Canal Conecta – a congress that aims to bring technical training to market professionals of photovoltaic solar energy.
The program will feature lectures and discussion panels on the most different topics that cover the national photovoltaic sector, where experts such as Bernardo Marangon, director of Exata Energia; Edgar Barassa, doctor in scientific and technological policy at Unicamp (State University of Campinas), Harry Neto, sales manager at WEG; and Pedro Dante, partner at Lefosse Advogados, will share their experiences and knowledge.
Adriano Pereira, senior engineer at PHB Solar; Guilherme Lippert, co-founder of V4 Company; Gustavo Malagoli, director of ReEnergisa; Marina Dia, technical engineer at JA Solar; Roberto Caurim, CEO of Bluesun Solar; Rodrigo Renó Gonzaga, president of RenovaEco; and Thiago Castilha, CMO of E-wolf are also among the speakers.
Strategies to boost sales in the solar sector, opening and commercialization in the free energy market and the challenges of electromobility are among the topics that will be addressed, as well as financing of solar plants, shared generation projects, problems involving flow reversal and monitoring performance of photovoltaic projects.
Below are the topics that will be covered in the second edition of Canal Conecta:
Opening of the Free Energy Market; How to boost sales in your solar energy company?; Important factors for solar energy strategy; Financing of solar energy projects; Flow reversal and safe installations of zero-grid systems with batteries; Electric Mobility – how to expand the charging infrastructure in Brazil?; Shared generation projects; Inspection and performance monitoring of photovoltaic plants; Paid traffic and strategies for capturing leads in solar energy;
The immersion days will be held in person at the Crea – SP headquarters, located at Avenida Angélica, 2364, in the Consolação neighborhood, in São Paulo (SP).
The event will start at 8am and end at 6pm on both days. At the end of the conference, participants will receive an official certificate from Canal Solar, which will be sent by email.

The first edition of the Canal Solar congress was held in November 2022, at the Unicamp Convention Center (State University of Campinas), in Campinas (SP).
The lectures addressed current topics in the solar energy sector, such as large-scale energy storage, floating solar plants, green hydrogen, O&M (Operation and Maintenance) and following-sales services, as well as information on how professionals sector might prepare for Law 14,300 and the arrival of hybrid inverters on the national market.
In addition, the event also featured discussion panels presented by renowned representatives of the photovoltaic sector, such as Alexandre Borin, sales director at Canadian Solar; Bruno Kikumoto, director of Canal Solar; and Gustavo Tegon, secretary of solar energy at Inel (National Institute of Clean Energy).
According to Geraldo Silveira, engineer at Canal Solar and one of the presenters of the panel on O&M, the event was a great opportunity to learn regarding the sector for those who were present.
“At last year’s event we brought experts from the photovoltaic energy sector to talk regarding O&M, it was quite enriching, because it brought to the audience a lot of practical and relevant content that professionals experience in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of solar systems”, points out Geraldo.
According to the engineer, Canal Conecta is an opportunity for professionals in the photovoltaic sector to absorb more knowledge in order to apply what they have learned in the day-to-day activities of their companies.
