The hope of the Montreal Canadiens Jayden Struble has decided to return to the formation of Northeastern University to play there the next campaign.
At least that’s what the specialized site montrealhockeynow.com reported on Wednesday. Consequently, the 20-year-old defenseman will be in his fourth season with this institution and will wait before making the leap to the professionals.
Second-round pick, the 46th overall, of the Habs in the 2019 National League draft, Struble rubbed shoulders with Jordan Harris, another up-and-coming fullback in the Montreal organization, among others. In 34 games, he had three goals and 11 assists for 14 points, while posting a plus-15 differential.
