COVID-19 continues to hurt the Montreal Canadiens since two additional players, Cameron Hillis and Michael Pezzetta, found themselves in the protocol on Wednesday. At the same time, another team game was postponed.
The two attackers become the 23rd and 24th members of the organization to have their names placed on the isolation list. Everything has been formalized by the club.
A few hours earlier, TVA Sports’ hockey expert Renaud Lavoie revealed the decision to postpone the game once morest the New Jersey Devils scheduled for January 15 at the Bell Center.
As expected, the January 15 followingnoon match once morest the @NJDevils will be postponed to a later date. It still gives flexibility to @CanadiensMTL to hope to have spectators back in the stands. Next home game scheduled for January 27 once morest the Ducks.

The Bettman circuit has rescheduled a number of meetings on Canadian territory since a series of restrictions announced by the provincial governments limited the capacity of the amphitheatres due to the resurgence of COVID-19.
While Ontario allows 1,000 spectators per event, games held in Quebec and Manitoba must take place behind closed doors. The Habs also played a meeting without spectators on December 16.
The Habs are scheduled to resume action on January 12 once morest the Bruins in Boston and must play seven games on the opposing rinks before crossing swords with the Anaheim Ducks on January 27 in Montreal.
This duel is the first of four consecutive games at the Bell Center before the break scheduled for the Olympic Games, which will instead be used to resume more than 90 canceled games.
