Canadian players have fun for a good cause

The KR8 Classic, held Saturday at the Sports Rousseau Center of Excellence, raised $60,000 for Leucan. Several NHL players and public figures have joined forces, including two members of the Montreal Canadiens organization: Rafaël Harvey-Pinard and Joshua Roy.

Team Raphael wins

In the end, “Team Raphaël” won the main event of the event, which raised $60,000 for Leucan and which was attended by 1,400 people, a record.

Note that the Canadian’s goalkeeper, Samuel Montembeault, was to take part in the event but had to withdraw at the last minute.
