Canadian brothers entered the Guinness Book of Records

The two brothers, who were born in Canada at 22 weeks, entered the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s earliest born twins.

When Shakina Rajendram went into labor at just 21 weeks and 5 days pregnant, she was told that her twins had no chance of surviving.

Even though they were born 126 days early, those babies who celebrated their first birthday recently entered the Guinness Book of Records.

The previous record was for twins born 125 days premature in 2018 in the US state of Iowa.

According to father Kevin Nadarajah, babies named Adiah and Adrial, who were not given a chance to survive, managed to hold on to life.

BORN TOTAL 750 GRAMS

Adiah was born with a weight of 330 grams and brother Adrial weighed 420 grams. The Canadian twins are also the “lightest twins” ever born, with a total weight of 750 grams.
