The museum Can Mario from Palafrugell (Baix Empordà) opens the exhibition this Saturday ‘Universal localisms. Artists of the Empordà 1‘, which will show some eighty works by artists who live in the Empordà. The purpose of the show is twofold. On the one hand, to “value” the talent of the works created in the territory and on the other hand to “make a map” with all the creators in the Empordà. This was stated by the curator of the show, Tony Alvarez, who explained that there will be 28 artists represented in the exhibition, which might account for 15% of all those present “in just over 50 km”. In fact, Álvarez points out that “regarding 200 plastic creators” might live in the whole of the Empordà.
