Society and the environment have high expectations of digital technology. Studies have shown that, depending on the size of the farm and the structure of the agro-product companies, middlemen are the players with the most market power. They therefore have the power to transfer risks to farmers, which can undermine innovation, modernization and restructuring of the sector into a more efficient form (Xhoxhi et al.., 2014).
