Campo Grande is preparing for what will be four years of “austerity” as explained by the new mayor of the city, Daniel Hernández. In his inaugural speech, the communal chief expressed that although the municipality does not have debts, “the commitments of the outgoing administration determine the next four years.” He Management focus will be on industrial development, austerity and a new secretariat.
He Mayor of Campo Grande, Daniel Hernández, took office last Saturday and in his first speech he announced what direction the city will take in the next four years. Without pending accounts in the municipality but with a management planned from austerity, this is how Daniel Hernández’s mandate will begin.
«We received a municipality without immediate debts, but commitments were made by the outgoing management that involve more than 700 million pesos as of today. “This will determine the next four years,” said the new mayor of Campo Grande.
As explained, this is due to the Burgos Social Lottery and its delivery to the successful bidders. «They do not have infrastructure that makes them habitable, such as basic services and without absolutely any management initiated to obtain these resources. We are going to work so that they can access their land, but for that we need management that will be austere,” he expressed.
Daniel Hernández, assured that to encourage The establishment of companies in the industrial park has the commitment of Dantas and Weretilneck “to include Campo Grande in an industrial promotion area with tax benefits.”
In turn, the president expressed his dissatisfaction with the lack of public policies that Ariel Rivero’s administration had. This is why he announced the creation of the Secretariat of Industrial Production and Development that will allow the management of tools that attract investors to the town.
“We will achieve a lot with imagination, with a municipality with open doors, decentralized and committed to modernization. “With dialogue, regional integration, austerity, work and management.”

“Honestly, they were four intense years divided into several stages, some very sad how it was to cope with the pandemic situation, an unprecedented, complicated moment, surely the most difficult that I have had to go through in my political life, in which we fought minute by minute and that despite all the effort took us to family, friends and lifelong neighbors” said Ariel Rivero .
He also noted that his greatest pride had been “giving Daniel a healthy institution, without debts of any kind, maintaining a staff, whose salary mass does not exceed 50% of income and with works completed and others underway and with several projects to be developed.”
