Live Profile: Does that bring you closer to people your age?
Sergio: We think so. As digital platforms also bring us closer. It is a world where we have discovered that there is an audience listening, where we generate content, and something crazy happens to us with a video, which reached 13,000,000 views on YouTube and We get videos of kids singing it in their homes, dancing in the background or doing karaoke, and later we find them in a theater or at a festival, singing the entire repertoire. We have an audience between 6 and 8 years old that attracts our attention. And that’s great.
Regarding the show they will do on Corrientes Street, they consider that it will be “a new challenge for the whole team –as revealed by Sergio. In June we did two shows in Buenos Aires in theater format and this would be like the closing. But we are going to do it differently, with iGuests, scenery, we will get off the stage, neon lights that are not customary in folklore. There will be several sequences: very festive, very romantic, very intimate moments; parts where we are left alone with the public so that they know a little regarding our privacy. But everyone celebrating and having a good time.”
And Augustine adds: “I think we are part of the renewal of folklore, each one does it how they feel and that is our way. We dress like when we go out with our friends, we add a touch of neon to the chopsticks and the lights turn on. Always give that theme also to bring the kids closer. We love that combination, as if a collaboration ever comes out with an artist from another genre we would love it, becauseand it is a way to continue generating this renewal, this identity that young people have with folklore”.
