CANNES, France, March 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ – Campari, the official partner of the Cannes International Film Festival, hosted its Discover Red event in the heart of Cannes’ La Croisette promenade, with a Alex Reed list that also included Charles Melton, Luke Evans and Alessandra Ambrosio.
This year was Campari, the legendary Milanese red aperitif, once more at the 76th edition of the world famous Cannes International Film Festival as an official partner and acted as the host of his Discover-Red -Event at which Charles Melton, Luke Evans und Alessandra Ambrosio participated.
In every phase of Discover Red Guests were invited to experience a series of unforgettable creations from Michelin two-star chef Christian Sinicropi and Camparino in Galleria head bartender Tommaso Cecca, each an idol in their respective fields, making the night brighter than expected . Held at the Martinez Hotel, the event inspired guests with a night that brought Campari’s long heritage to life in cinema.
Guests were immersed in a multi-sensory, four-course culinary experience handpicked by two icons of bar culture and gastronomy. Executive chef Christian Sinicropi used his unlimited skills as a two-star Michelin chef to craft each course to perfection, paired with Campari cocktails mixed by Tommaso Cecca, Camparino’s head bartender at Galleria, which offers legendary service in Milan and is an icon of the aperitif par excellence.
As guests arrived for dinner, what appeared to be an ordinary table was transformed into a stunning display inspired by the red carpet at the Cannes International Film Festival, the Cannes Riviera, the power of the imagination and Campari’s place at the heart of cocktail culture. The four courses each began with an iconic Campari cocktail that inspired an unforgettable dish and stimulated the senses while guests were guided through the evening by a narrator accompanying the audiovisual presentation.

Cocktails were served throughout the evening Camparino Served in Galleria, which offers the legendary service of the historic Milan bar in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The symbol of the aperitif par excellence, Camparino brings to Cannes its close link with Milan, the birthplace of Campari, and the artistic and cultural context of the 20th century.
The Camparino team served guests a selection of iconic Campari cocktails including the Negroni, Campari Spritz and Negroni Sbagliato. Alongside these classic cocktails, the Camparino team served the Red Carpet – Cannes Edition: a fresh and salty cocktail inspired by the Cannes Riviera.
