Celebrities did not believe the expert’s words, but in vain.
Astrologers are often correct in their predictions. With frightening accuracy, they can predict the future, including quite dark ones. For example, Pavel Globa in the late 1980s announced the imminent death of two Soviet stars.
It all happened in Yalta, where several creative companies met in one hotel. Igor Talkov toured the resort with concerts, and Alexander Pankratov-Cherny was there filming. One evening, the famous astrologer Pavel Globa approached them. The singer invited the expert to prove the veracity of such dubious science.
Globa only looked at the hands of Talkov and Pankratov-Cherny for a second, declaring that they would die on the same day. The stars did not take the prediction seriously and soon forgot regarding it.
