Cam Reddish arrives at the Knicks, Atlanta recovers a pick and Kevin Knox

Hop, a little Woj bomb that foreshadows another in the coming weeks! The New York Knicks swung into action and the Hawks also got into action. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Cam Reddish, the young Atlanta winger, is sent to New York, in exchange for a 2022 1st round protected top 18 (via Charlotte). The Hawks had apparently been looking for a pick in exchange for the ex-Dukie for several weeks. They will therefore have this pick protected, but also Kevin Knox, in loss since his arrival in the NBA.

In this same package, in which Brooklyn is involved, the Knicks also recover Solomon Hill and a 2nd round of Draft 2025.

One can’t help but notice that New York now has two of Duke’s trio members, along with RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish. From there to imagine that they will position themselves on the third thief, Zion Williamson, in the not so distant future, there is only one step…

Can the US media really push Zion Williamson to the Knicks?

Cam Reddish is rather on a good dynamic with a month of December with 14 points and 27 minutes on average, which he had never known before in the NBA. The Knicks recover with him a young winger with enormous potential but who has not yet had the opportunity to show himself permanently.

On the Atlanta side, where we obviously intend to move significantly before the deadline, it is possible that the recovered assets will be included in another deal to recover a bigger fish. We know that Travis Schlenk, the GM, continues to discuss with Daryl Morey, his counterpart in Philadelphia, around the Ben Simmons case.
