He entered the stage alone, with a calm step in full light, to sit at the piano and gently launch his recital with “Happy ending” and “If only I might miss him”. He came out following more than two hours followingwards, still alone, accompanied by an acoustic guitar this time, to perform a lovely version of the legendary “En apesanteur” covered by a delighted Zenith.
Between the two, Calogero and his musicians put on quite a show as part of the “AMOUR” tour which will, without a doubt, be a great popular success. The invigorating bassist delivered a performance that delighted his fans and everyone else, juggling perfectly in his setlist between songs from his latest album “AMOUR” and essential hits from his repertoire. “Cache cache” set the tempo from the start, followed by “Face à la mer” which got the audience on board. Calogero delivered his beautiful melodies, his pop songs, raising the decibels with a breathtaking sequence in their rock version of “A day in the wrong place” then “Tasse root”, before a fiery “Yalla” at the end set! Leader of the pack for his musicians in tune, but also choirmaster of an audience that he has repeatedly invited to sing his greatest refrains, Calogero set the Zenith alight before retiring with a calm step, almost weightless …
