Calls the Welfare Delegation to donate food for the population affected by “John”

After last Monday, September 23, tropical storm “John” suddenly evolved into a Category 3 Hurricane and hit the coast of the state of Guerrero, the Federal Welfare Delegation in Tlaxcala invites the population of the entity to participate in the collection of provisions for that state.

After the passage of Hurricane “Otis” in October of last year, National Servants and operational personnel from the Ministry of Welfare went to Guerrero to provide permanent support throughout the different phases that have been implemented by the Government of Mexico for humanitarian and reconstruction tasks in Acapulco and Coyuca de Benítez.

In this sense, after the damage caused by “John”, the Welfare Delegation in Tlaxcala will carry out a food collection that will be transferred to the state of Guerrero to be delivered to its population.

The Welfare Delegation is located on Guridi and Alcocer streets without number, and supplies can be received from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday starting today, Monday, September 30 of the current year.

Non-perishable foods such as water are a priority; canned food; pasta soup; lentils; rice; beans; powdered milk; chocolate and cereals.

Likewise, basic material for healing will be collected, such as pain relievers, bandages, gauze and disinfectant solutions. In addition to personal hygiene and cleaning products such as feminine towels; diapers; sanitary paper; toothbrushes; soap; chlorine; buckets; and detergent. (Bulletin)
