Callisto Protocol developer Striking Distance Studios (SDS) CEO Glenn Scofield explained the recent death scene charging controversy. On the 24th, CEO Glenn said on his Twitter account, “There are no death scenes excluded from the main game for the season pass,” and that “development for the season pass has not started.”

This story started with the detailed content information of the season pass included in the Digital Deluxe Edition of Callisto Protocol. The death scene is the core content of Callisto Protocol, and it is an important element in the game to the extent that the brutal death scene is emphasized even at the time of marketing. However, when the information that new death scenes are included in the season pass of the deluxe edition, which is priced higher than the regular version, was released, it was pointed out that some of the previously released death scenes were included in the season pass and sold.

Regarding this, SDS CEO Glenn said, “What is clear is that we have not hidden elements from the main story for the season pass. We have not started any work related to this content (season pass). The elements we will be working on in the new year are It’s all new content. As much as the fans want ‘more’ deaths, we will prioritize producing them next year,” he dismissed the controversy.
