On 19 August, the FFTT published a call for registration on the electoral lists of referees and a call for registration on the electoral lists of coaches. Applications to be elected to the next Federal Council for these two colleges, as well as for that of representatives of high-level athletes, are now open. Are you concerned by one of these roles? You have until 23 September to return your application form.
As a reminder, as specified on our site on July 18, the application of the Sports law of March 2, 2022 aimed at democratizing Sport in France, This year, the federal electoral system is changing, notably with direct voting by clubs and the establishment of special colleges.

Election of the two representatives of the arbitrators
Call for applications
A call for applications is made on Monday, September 9, 2024 by the federal headquarters for the election of the 2 representatives of the referees to the Federal Council. This call for applications is published on the federal website; an email is sent to those registered on the electoral list of referees and, for information, to the correspondents of the leagues and departmental committees.
The application must be addressed impersonally to the President of the FFTT using a specific form (available on the website and from the leagues and departmental committees); it may be accompanied by a candidate presentation sheet of one page maximum. It must:
- either be submitted to the reception of the federal headquarters on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 12 noon at the latest;
- either be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt on Monday, September 23, 2024 at the latest (the postmark being proof) to the following address: 3 rue Dieudonné Costes 75013 Paris;
- or be sent by email on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 12 noon at the latest to the address: election@fftt.email
Conditions to be a candidate:
- Be 16 years of age or older on Friday, October 4, 2024;
- Be registered on the electoral list of referees;
- Be a licensed competition or manager on the date of submission of the application and have checked the “referee” box on their spid form (agreement on the integrity check);
- Not be subject to a ban on the right to vote or to stand for election under Article 131-26 of the Criminal Code;
- Not to be reported as having infringed the law by the Ministry of Sports during the automated processing of personal data called “SI Honorabilité”;
- Not being subject to a sanction of ineligibility in time for a serious breach of the technical rules of the game constituting an infringement of sportsmanship;
- Not be in professional activity whose main employer is the FFTT.
An acknowledgement of receipt of application is sent by the federal headquarters to each candidate.

The list of candidates is distributed to those registered on the referees’ electoral list and, for information, to correspondents of the leagues and departmental committees.
