Technopolice sends a call for donations from the Vallon contrecameras collective (12) to help them pay the costs of lawyers to fight once morest the installation of video surveillance cameras
Since February 2021, our collective has been mobilizing once morest the installation of cameras in our small town of 1700 inhabitants.
Faced with a mayor who has decided to post cameras above the trash cans and at the entrance to the nursery school, even though he explains to the press that there has been no major problem or intrusion, we highlight the typical friendliness of our Vallon, the apprehension of problems and their resolution through dialogue and collective deliberation. In a joyful dynamic, we were led to file a complaint with around thirty inhabitants and the Solidaires union once morest the town hall. In order to pay for the procedure, we need to find 1400 euros.
Your donations are therefore welcome:
Surprisingly sabotaged cameras, an M6 team wandering through our alleys, and our arguments which were widely relayed by the Chained Duck, Liberation, 20 Minutes and by L’Empaillé.
We hope that the transcripts of our interventions, our summaries (here or here), our leaflets (here, here and then once more there) can help!
Thanking you for your support opportunities!
