“While chit-fighting is not a magic bullet, it is a battle we are committed to fighting.”

Call of Duty Warzone will now grant all PC players God Mode if you spot a traitor in the lobby.

As detailed in a new post regarding the game Official BlogThe anti-cheat team has tested a reduction technology called “damage shield,” which disables a cheater’s ability to inflict massive damage on other players – and it’s now been rolled out worldwide.

“This relief leaves the cheater exposed to real players and allows the #TeamRICOCHET to collect information regarding the cheater’s system,” the post explains. “We are monitoring these encounters to ensure that the game does not have the option to randomly or accidentally apply the damage shield, regardless of skill level.

“To be clear, we will never get involved in gun battles between law-abiding members of the community.”

The team adds that there are more “live and cutting edge” safeguards, and the team believes there has been a decrease in fraud reports, although it acknowledges that “the work was never completed.”

The post adds: “As time has progressed, cheat developers have been looking for new ways to try and profit from the game.”

“Some succeeded, many did not. While the recent rise in betrayals has not been on the level it was during Verdansk, according to our data, any rise is frustrating. Our team is constantly monitoring and will continue every effort to prevent and combat it whenever possible “It’s not a magic bullet, it’s a battle we are committed to fighting.”
