Since the takeover of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft has been announced, players in the Xbox community have clearly expected Call of Duty to land on Xbox Game Pass, but this is still not the case. Could things change very soon?

The acquisition of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft was a real thunderclap that no one expected. They aren’t currently available with gamepass but a similar situation occurred with Bethesda titles before they were added to game pass shortly following.

If some are wondering, it’s because Similar actions had been observed with Bethesda games, when the latter was bought by Microsoft: the apps had first benefited from promotions in this same category of the digital store…before being integrated into the Xbox Game Pass catalog. So might history be regarding to repeat itself with Call of Duty? Some frankly like to think so.
As a matter of fact, we will have to expect that some episodes, probably older, land on Microsoft’s famous service.
