Game News Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: the beta on PS5 and PS4 is getting clearer, here is the time for pre-download

This week is a very important one for all Call of Duty fans: it will sign the first hours of the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer beta. Some additional information has just emerged.
Soon it’s time for the shootout
And Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has already shown part of its single-player campaign, its multiplayer has so far been discreet and as much to say that it excites more than one. Fans will therefore be delighted to learn that the betas are about to take place and the very first one is reserved for PS5 and PS4 players who have pre-ordered the game.
If you are concerned, then know that beta pre-download COD MW2 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 will start at 7 p.m. French time this Wednesday. Alas, the weight of the demo has not yet been revealed. This should therefore give you time to install this small portion of the game while waiting for it to be playable on September 16 and 17, which is Friday and Saturday.
We remind you that from September 18 to 20, the FPS beta will be open to all PlayStation players.
Extra for the second week
Finally, the following weekend will be divided into two parts : September 22 and 23 will be reserved for all those who pre-ordered the game on Xbox and PC while PlayStation players will be able to try the title again, without needing to have pre-ordered it. On September 24, 25 and 26, the beta will be open to players on all platforms.
The other very important meeting is also set for September 15: it’s Call of Duty Next, a showcase that not only unveils the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2but also Warzone 2 and Warzone Mobile. We will also cover the event live: more information can be found here.
