Activision today announced the upcoming season 2 called “Heavy Metal” for the shooter spin-off Call of Duty: Mobile. This second season for the on-the-go action title will be available next week starting February 23rd at 1:00am CET.
What can you specifically expect? The new MS map Diesel, two new MS modes (Goliath Battle, Chaos Control), the unit support perk and more await you in the post-apocalyptic hell. Of course, a fresh Battle Pass with 50 levels full of rewards should not be missing; As usual, this is available in a free and a paid premium version.
Among the Battle Pass rewards are Operators like Domino – Intimidation Tactics and the all-new Dead Man, as well as the Maddox Weapon, Unit Support Perk, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, Charms, CoD Points (CP) and more.

- New MS card – Diesel – First introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the map places players in a picturesque roadside pit stop in the middle of the desolate wasteland.
- Two new MS modes – Players will test their luck in Chaos Control, a new take on control, or fulfill mech fighter dreams in Goliath Battle!, where they board as a Goliath and try to reach a capture point. Here they fight for batteries that they can collect and exchange for rewards.
- New BR Class – Destroyer Launchers – Players place a turret that auto-attacks enemies within range, or upgrade it to High Missile Damage status to target and destroy vehicles.
- New weapon, new attachment, new perk – There is also the new weapon Maddox, a well-balanced assault rifle, the underbarrel launcher special attachment for the M4 or the unit support perk for ascension.
