Day one of Call of Duty League Championship Weekend is now in the books and with that being the case, every team in attendance now has an associated win or loss. Unsurprisingly, the four teams that make up the top four in the regular season standings have proven to be a challenge for the other rosters to overcome, as currently the New York Subliners, Atlanta Faze, OpTic Texas, and the Toronto Ultra each started their Championship run with a win.
The Subliners were able to hold off the Minnesota Rokkr in a 3-2 performance, all before the Faze beat the Seattle Surge in a more dominating 3-1 game. Texas also toppled the Boston Breach in a 3-1 series, before the Ultra overcame the Los Angeles Thieves in a more competitive 3-2 game.
This means that the first knockout matches will see the Thieves take on the Surge before the Rokkr take on the Breach, with the winners of those matches facing the losers of Ultra vs. Faze and Subliners vs. Texas. These four games will all be played tonight, with the schedule and local times for each game found ici.
Who do you think will win CoD Champs this year?
