Call of Duty, Diablo and more? Game Pass should receive Activision Blizzard games in March

The Ubisoft document says that the company expects a large increase in its revenue and in the number of games offered by Ubisoft+ by March 31, when Activision Blizzard games are expected to arrive on the service and also on Game Pass.

The report says:

The upcoming release of XDefiant will take us one step further into the world of Free-to-play, in line with our strategy of strengthening our position in Live services and increasing the recurrence of our business. We are also planning significant partnerships, including the non-exclusive license of streaming rights from Activision Blizzard that we acquired last October.

The partnership with Ubisoft was signed in August 2023, when Microsoft sold rights to Activision games so that they might also be distributed by Ubisoft+ for the next 15 years.

On the other hand, it is important to remember that the games will only be distributed on Ubisoft+ following their arrival on Game Pass, as Microsoft’s gaming service continues to have priority in the agreement.

In this way, we can assume that Activision Blizzard games will arrive on Game Pass by March 31, 2024, although we do not yet know whether all titles will be made available at once or they will be released gradually on the service.
