Call of Duty Crossover: Round 6 Coming to Warzone and Black Ops 6 in January

Activision released the teaser for a Call of Duty crossover with the Round 6 series. One of Netflix’s most popular series will participate in Black Ops 6 and Warzone in January, according to a video published on the company’s social networks.

It’s worth remembering that crossovers are nothing new for Call of Duty, which has already had curious collaborations, such as The Boys, Lara Croft, King Kong, Godzilla, Gundam, Attack on Titan, Spawn and Rambo.

The crossover will take place shortly after the premiere of the second season of Round 6, which will hit the Netflix catalog on December 26th. Before that, the streaming giant plans to release Squid Game Unleashed for Android and iOS on December 17th.

⁢ **Interviewer:** Joining us today is ‍gaming industry analyst, Emily Carter. Emily, Activision⁣ has just announced a major crossover event coming to Call of Duty: a collaboration with the wildly popular Netflix⁤ series, Squid Game. What ⁣are your initial thoughts about this partnership?

**Emily Carter:** It’s certainly a bold move, and one that’s likely to generate a lot of buzz. On the one hand, Squid Game’s‌ immense popularity is undeniable, and tapping into that fan⁢ base could be incredibly lucrative for Activision. Imagine players ‌customizing⁣ their operators ‍with Squid Game-inspired ⁤skins or⁤ navigating⁤ battlegrounds⁣ inspired by the show’s‌ deadly games.

**Interviewer:**⁤ Do⁣ you think this move will ⁤be well-received‍ by the Call of⁢ Duty‌ community?

**Emily Carter:** That’s the million-dollar question. ⁢Some ‌fans might embrace the novelty and the potential for unique gameplay experiences, but others might ‌see it as a cheap cash grab that strays too far ⁢from the core Call of Duty identity. It’ll⁤ be interesting to see how Activision balances the Squid Game aesthetic with ‍the established tone⁤ and mechanics of the game.
