Call for applications to fill 1,133 positions at the new Gran Hospital in Coronel Oviedo

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The application period for one of the 1,133 positions that the Ministry of Health is calling for for the opening of the Gran Hospital de Coronel Oviedo, scheduled between November and December, is open from Monday 23rd to Friday 27th.

Applications are made on the portal concursos.mspbs.gov.pywhere interested parties must present digital documents such as an identity card, certificate of criminal record, a copy of their university degree and training.

In addition, a certificate of life and residence will be required for those who are residents or born in Caaguazú, since priority will be given to personnel from the department, said the director of Human Resources Planning of the Ministry, Juan Estigarribia.

Another sector that will be prioritized will be the first-time job sector. 60% of the vacancies will be aimed at health professionals who are accessing employment for the first time within the public health system.

“This competition has three types of applications: one is relocation, the possibility of moving to their city of origin and working within their hometowns; another is multi-link, because white-collar workers can also have several links, and finally the new contract, for those who access their first job,” he said in an interview with Paraguay TV.

The tendering process will be completed in about 34 working days, Estigarribia said. The objective is to have the necessary staff for the opening of the Gran Hospital de Coronel Oviedo, scheduled for before the end of the year.

This hospital will incorporate specialties in order to decentralize health services and offer quality care in the region for more than 600,000 inhabitants, with an investment of G. 151,247 million.
