From European funds a dowry of 20 million euros to support research, development and innovation projects of Calabrian companies. It is the call published by the Region as part of the FESR-FSE 2021-2027 program to support projects aimed at business innovation in the digital transition.
Micro, small, medium and large enterprises can participate both individually and in association.
40% of the endowment, ensured by the European Regional Development Fund and which can be integrated with other additional sources, is intended for groupings of companies that include at least one large company, while 60% is reserved for groupings that do not include a large company.
Financing interventions
Industrial research and experimental development projects can be financed, as well as initiatives relating to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, big data and cloud technologies. There is also space for industrial research which includes the creation of components of complex systems and may include the construction of prototypes. Collaboration, networking and exchange activities between companies are among the projects that can be financed.
The eligible expenses concern personnel, costs relating to instruments and equipment for the period in which they are used for the project, costs for contractual research, patents acquired or licensed and consultancy, materials and supplies.
