CaixaBank launches Wellbeing Week for the first time, with a complete program with numerous activities between April 8 and 12 aimed at its staff to promote healthy habits and a culture of well-being and health. During these days, the entity promotes initiatives among its employees both in person and remotely.
Conferences on emotional well-being and anti-inflammatory nutrition, a body ergonomics workshop, promotions and raffles to encourage health and sports activities. Therapeutic programs of functional medicine and nutrition, as well as special food menus and road safety advice are just some of the activities organized by the entity during this week to improve the quality of life of its workers.
Thanks to the extensive Network of Wellbeing Ambassadors of all the Territorial Directorates of the entity, actions such as mindfulness sessions, yoga and Pilates masterclasses or healthy nutrition workshops, among others, are organized throughout the territory.
This project is part of the Healthy Organization, Safety and Occupational Health management systems that the entity has as a result of its commitment and involvement with the culture of well-being and health. This commitment has recently been recognized through various certifications and awards.
Healthy Organization
The transversal and integrative Healthy Organization project is a strategy that is based on CaixaBank’s culture and values and focuses on the well-being of the teams. Establishes the group’s commitment to promoting health and healthy habits that improve the quality of life of the entity’s staff and their family environment, as well as clients, shareholders, investors, suppliers, the local community and society in general. .
The objectives of the program are to be close to the workforce by carrying out actions throughout the territory, enhance face-to-face activities and experiences and establish active two-way listening with the Wellbeing Ambassadors and the human resources representatives of all the territories regarding their needs and expectations regarding well-being and health.
CaixaBank has a complete vision of well-being and health and is based on six pillars: prevention and promotion of health and safety, emotional well-being, physical activity and sport, healthy eating, environment – adaptation of work spaces – and financial well-being. In addition, it has implemented a healthy organization management system focused on continuous improvement, which allows it to advance in terms of well-being and health to face present and future challenges.
