In the aftermath of the thrilling group stages of the CAF Women’s Champions League Morocco 2024, the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) Technical Study Group (TSG) has officially unveiled the standout eleven players from the competition.
The esteemed CAF TSG is composed of a select group of distinguished African football professionals, which include elite coaches, seasoned analysts, and knowledgeable technical advisors.
Leading the Best 11 selections are four remarkable players hailing from AS FAR, accompanied by two emerging talents each from tournament newcomers Edo Queens and FC Masar. Rounding out the roster are formidable players from Mamelodi Sundowns, University of the Western Cape (UWC), and TP Mazembe.
Notably, AS FAR’s skilled goalkeeper Khadija ER-Rmichi has earned her position as the primary shot-stopper following an impressive performance that saw her concede only a single goal throughout the group stages.
The central defense features AS FAR’s Nouhaila Benzina and Shadia Nankya from FC Masar, forming a dynamic partnership. Meanwhile, the back line is fortified by full-backs Cordeila Odoma of Edo Queens and Karabo Dhlamini from Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.
Anchoring the midfield is the highly experienced Amogelang Motau from UWC, who plays a pivotal role just behind the potent attacking duo of Sanaa Mssoudy from AS FAR and Sandrine Niyonkuru of FC Masar.
Heading the attacking trio is the formidable Emem Essien of Edo Queens, complemented by AS FAR’s breakout star, the teenage sensation Doha El Madani, and the skilled Lacho Marta of TP Mazembe.
