Cadi Al-Qaisi raises controversy with a “selfie” with her father’s body

The Iraqi artist Kadi Al-Qaisi was subjected to a violent attack on social networks following she posted a “selfie” next to her father’s body, but she denied this by saying that “the first thing is the father is his parents and I am free, and the second thing is the last picture of his parents before his death and he was sick.”

Al-Qaisi’s statement came following a publication by the Emirati journalist, Saleh Al Jasmi, in which he says, “A picture with her father’s body, and the comment is for you.”

Kadi Al-Qaisi called her father, saying, “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. May God have mercy on you, my dear parents. You broke my back, yearning. Ah, Papa, you took my soul and saw you.”
