Caddie Goes Green: Cochez Group Announces Switch to Metal Trolleys to Reduce Plastic Pollution

Caddie, owned by the Cochez group, announces that it will stop producing plastic supermarket trolleys. “As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility and reducing plastic pollution, we have taken the decision to discontinue the Emotion range,” indicates a press release in reference to this range of plastic supermarket trolleys.

“From an ecological point of view, plastic is a disaster”, explains Sébastien Vasseur, sales manager, in the subject of TF1 at the top of the article. In comparison, metal carts are “recognized for their recyclability and environmental sustainability”. A 180 degree turn operated by an emblematic French brand before then as main argument: recycling.
