Graz/Saarbrücken/Sunnyvale – A new security vulnerability in computer processors (CPU) was discovered by researchers at Graz University of Technology and the Saarbrücken Helmholtz Center for Information Security (Cispa). It makes virtual work environments (Virtual Machines, VM) with AMD processors vulnerable, the Graz University of Technology (TU) announced on Tuesday. The US chip company was informed by the researchers and is providing an update that fixes the vulnerability.
