Cabello warns Colombian foreign minister that he will respond if he talks about “transition” again

Diosdado Cabello challenged Colombian Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo and said that he would respond “with certainty” if he spoke once more regarding a “transition” in Venezuela. He also called him a “puppy of the American empire.”

«If you have something to say, talk regarding transition, Murillo, do it, talk regarding transition once more to see, to see what happens, and cover your ears because I will respond once more with certainty.“said the first vice president of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), through VTV.

Cabello reiterated his accusation once morest the Colombian minister of “working” for the United States government – to which Murillo recently limited herself to responding with a “foolish words, deaf ears” – and described the official from the Andean country as a “puppy of the empire.”

«He is the foreign minister of Colombia, but he works for the United States Government.“, insisted Cabellowho said he preferred “A thousand times more likely to be a fool than to be a puppy dragged to imperialism«.

On May 8, the Chavista leader accused Murillo of “working” for the North American nation, following the Colombian expressed that his country seeks a “peaceful transition” in Venezuela following the presidential elections, in which the current Venezuelan head of state, Nicolás Maduro, seeks his second reelection.

The next day, Murillo said that Cabello’s accusation “does not make sense” and said that the Colombian government does not want “respond or give in to any provocation from other actors on either side who sometimes only want to generate conflict«.
