A BYD continues trying to win over the Brazilian public with its cars and other actions. In fact, one of them was taken without fanfare and consists of reducing the prices of two of its SUV models: the Yuan Plus and the Song Pluswhich suffered a reduction of R$40 thousand in their values.
In this case, both vehicles cost the same amount of money. R$ 229.990which puts them close to the Volvo EX30, which is sold from R$ 219.950. The updated prices for both models already appear on the website, along with a short notice regarding the new feature.
That said, it is important to emphasize that this decrease is not a definitive action taken by the company. In this sense, its own official portal warns that these prices will only be charged until October 31st. After this date, they cost R$269,990 once more.
BID Yuan Plus
This model arrived in 2022 with the promise of offering a competitive price. Its main features include an electric motor with 204 horsepower and 31.6 kgfm of torque. It also comes with full-LED headlights, face-to-face key, panoramic sunscreen and electronic parking brake.
BYD Song Plus
The Song Plus, in turn, comes with BYD’s DM-i hybrid system. In other words, it combines a 1.5 four-cylinder aspirated engine with 110 hp and 13.7 kgfm of torque with an electric motor. In total, the model has 180 hp and 32.2 kgfm of torque, in addition to coming with adaptive cruise control, face key, digital panel, ambient lighting and more.
Anyone interested can try to purchase one of the two vehicles by the end of the month. In the meantime, it’s worth checking out the new versions of the Dolphin model presented by the company recently.
