After the number 5 million, the company reached the milestone of 6 million new energy vehicles in just three months, maintaining its fast pace and continuing to set new production and sales standards The 6 millionth new energy vehicle, called BAO 5 (a super-hybrid SUV from BYD’s professional custom sub-brand FANGCHENGBAO) was marked at a ceremony where employee representatives celebrated this great achievement.
BYD has expanded its diverse array of brands, which includes Dynasty and Ocean series, FANGCHENGBAO, DENZA and Yangwang. In October, BYD achieved record monthly sales, surpassing 300,000 new energy vehicles.
