BAccording to information from the “Bild” newspaper (Saturday), orussia Dortmund’s young star Erling Haaland is to switch to English soccer champions Manchester City following the end of the Bundesliga season. Coach Pep Guardiola wants to set new stimuli in the squad and is therefore planning with the 21-year-old Norwegian. However, Haaland’s advisor Mino Raiola and his father Alf-Inge Haaland would still have to scale back their financial demands significantly. Man City are currently leaders in the Premier League. In the Champions League the club is in the semi-finals.
The Norwegian international can BVB left following this season thanks to a €75m release clause. Haarland have been linked with various top clubs for months. Also Real Madrid should be interested.
According to the American TV broadcaster ESPN, he has Manchester United now cancelled. Haaland’s contract in Dortmund actually runs until the summer of 2024.
