Kobel injured himself while warming up immediately before the game.

DAZN expert Sami Khedira: “Kobel is the best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga (his statistics: 18 missions, eight times to zero, ed.)! That’s definitely a dampener!”

They’re in such a good mood! This video makes Dortmund dream of the title

BVB meets Chelsea in the round of 16 second leg. Dortmund won the first leg 1-0 – mainly thanks to an outstanding performance by Kobel!

A failure would be really bitter …

But what should give BVB fans some hope: Even if Kobel CANNOT play once morest the “Blues”, BVB has an excellent number 2. Alexander Meyer convinced once morest RB. After the game, Meyer said at DAZN: “It was a jump in at the deep end. The team made it easy for me. I enjoyed playing once more following a long break. We come through the combative. We missed that a bit in the first half of the season.”

Coach Terzic also praised the substitute: “We have to wait and see. Gregor thought for a long time whether he should start following all. But we know regarding the quality of Alex.”

Positive for BVB: Meyer doesn’t have the worst premier class record either. He only lost one of four appearances this season (the rest: two wins, one draw).
