Vienna (OTS) –

This is also the case this year “Big Ö3 Christmas Shopping”, a joint campaign by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and Ö3, for Christmas anticipation. Because anyone who shops in local stores and listens to Ö3 has the chance of getting the bill paid. “And like last year, this year it pays twice as much to buy Christmas presents in Austrian retailers. Because two bills are drawn per round,” says Rainer Trefelik, chairman of the federal trade division at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.

Specifically, all invoices from Austrian shops, online shops or direct sales can be submitted to Ö3. The earliest invoice date is November 25th and the deadline for submission is December 20th at 12:00 p.m. The draws will then take place during the promotional period from December 2nd to December 23rd.

Taking part is very easy

It’s very easy to take part: take a photo of the invoice(s) online upload hereenter your details and you have the chance to get some free Christmas shopping.

Even as an Austrian retail company, you can easily take part in Ö3 Christmas shopping and actively inform your customers. Ö3 and the WKÖ federal trade division provide Free advertising motifs to download available. This gives retailers the opportunity to draw attention to the fact that Christmas shopping can be recovered in their store.

“Ö3 Christmas shopping is an important support, especially given the current difficult economic situation. Every incentive to buy from local retailers helps to secure our businesses and thus the total of around 565,000 jobs in Austrian retail,” emphasizes Trefelik. (PWK429/DFS)
