Asked regarding the match of his men and especially, inevitably, regarding the actions of the fans of Beerschot, Felice Mazzù said: “(On the possibility of not winning the game on the green carpet) No, I can’t imagine it. But there are so many surprises here in Belgium in the decisions that I am waiting for before deciding. But I don’t see why we mightn’t have this victory from the moment it was very clear, compared to what happened”, he explained at the microphone ofEleven Sports.
“We will first digest this match, and the days off will be good for everyone. And then we will talk to each other once more in training and we will prepare for these play-offs.”
He also clarified his ambitions for this crucial mini-league. “It’s been more than half a century since the Union finished in this position. So we’re going there to learn, to gain experience and to play once morest teams that have the ‘used and who have experience. So we’ll try to do the best we can.”
