In the Kadamzhai district of the Batken region, a number of gross violations of the land legislation were revealed by 16 economic entities who built up the Ankursai mudflow hazardous area without permission. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security.
On this fact, on April 14, 2023, a criminal case was initiated under Article 214 part 1 (arbitrariness) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Relevant investigative and operational measures are currently being carried out.
