We are looking for a Business Process Consultant to join the Six Sigma team. The successful candidate for this position will successfully lead process improvement efforts to achieve significant impact on operations, finances, customer satisfaction and/or employee satisfaction. The candidate will work across all levels of the organization, and potentially with external clients and vendors, to take difficult, ambiguous or visionary concepts, transform them into well-defined projects and deliver process improvement results in a timely manner. In addition, the Business Process Consultant will provide advisory services to senior executives and business unit leaders in the analysis of business processes and value streams, with a focus on identifying strategic projects.

Project identification

  • Provide Six Sigma support to our senior management and business unit leaders, particularly in developing business cases and identifying strategic projects.

  • Support the identification and evaluation of opportunities for improving the organization’s processes.

Project execution

  • Lead and contribute to process improvement solutions within the company, including moderate, ambiguous and complex projects.

  • Manage tactical and strategic projects aimed at reducing costs and expenses, improving customer experience and increasing organizational efficiency.

  • Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.

  • Collect and analyze data to identify root causes of defects; measure performance against process requirements; and align improvements to performance gaps.

  • Develop measures that provide data for process evaluation, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

  • Monitor and communicate the results of process improvement projects to management and business stakeholders.

Change Leadership

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, staff and management through one-on-one contact and group meetings.

  • Act as a change agent by driving cultural change focused on the success of our company and its customers.

  • Apply influencing and change management skills to ensure project success.

  • Support the business in learning Six Sigma methodologies, including appropriate tools, measurement, analysis, improvement and control concepts, through presentations and training.

Mentoring

  • Coach and support Green Belts in their project work, helping them understand and use Work-Out, Lean and Six Sigma methods to successfully complete projects on time.

Desired skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior level executives.

  • Proficiency in facilitating meetings and presentations in hybrid environments.

  • Possess an analytical mind, including the interpretation, analysis and evaluation of reports and data.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at different levels of the organization.

  • Skills in problem solving, root cause analysis, risk analysis and process mapping.

  • Experience in project management and change management.

  • Ability to understand and identify links between specific projects and key strategic objectives.

  • Able to think, organize and lead multiple projects in parallel.

  • Bilingual English/French verbal and written (an asset)

Additional skills:

  • Resourcefulness and innovative and entrepreneurial spirit

  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Vizio and Power Automate is a plus (or other relational database management, process mapping and automation tools).

Degree, certification and experience:

  • A university degree, or equivalent, generally requires more than 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in business analysis, project management, process improvement or Lean Six Sigma is an asset.

The incumbent of this position will have to support internal and/or external clients outside of Quebec and/or the United States on a daily basis. Consequently, this position requires fluency in written and spoken English.   • Develop and maintain productive stakeholder, staff, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.

  • Act as a change agent driving cultural change focused on our business’s and its customers’ success.

  • Apply influence and change management skills to ensure project success.

  • Support the business in learning Six Sigma methodologies, including appropriate defined tools, measurement, analysis, improvement, and control concepts, through presentations and training.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$68,000 – $113,400
