Business conference for the Zero Hunger program will be held in Ñeembucú

Asuncion, IP Agency.- On August 20, a new edition of the business roundtable for MSMEs and family agriculture producers will be held in the department of Ñeembucú, with a view to becoming suppliers of companies awarded for the Zero Hunger Program.

This is an initiative of the Ministry of Social Development (MDS), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG).

The activity will take place in the auditorium and esplanade of the Ñeembucú Governorate, from 08:00 to 11:00.

This type of event seeks to bring supply and demand closer together, to strengthen these sectors and to insert them into the Zero Hunger Program, promoted by the Government of Paraguay, thus promoting compliance with the 5 percent of purchases from micro, small and medium-sized enterprises; and 10 percent from family agriculture of the awarded contracts.

It should be noted that, during the Business Roundtables, SMEs and producers will have the opportunity not only to present their products with the possibility of becoming suppliers of the companies awarded the Zero Hunger Program, but they will also be able to receive training with officials from the Vice Ministry of SMEs and other State institutions, on formalization, financing, in order to strengthen the management of their businesses.
