The Davos Forum, which was held in Switzerland until today (20), was the stage for Busan to promote the 2030 Expo.
With flags hanging all over Davos to host the 2030 Expo, everyone from President Yoon Seok-yeol to the heads of large corporations contributed.

Efforts to attract Expo 2030 to Busan did not stop at the Davos Forum in Switzerland, where current economic issues are discussed.
The ‘Korea Night’ held on the night of the 18th (local time) was like a publicity event for the 2003 Expo.
Starting with President Seok-yeol Yoon, we asked more than 300 government and business representatives from around the world to support the Busan Expo.
Park Hyeong-joon/Busan Mayor (Davos local)/President Yoon Seok-yeol spent most of his speech on the meaning of hosting the expo and global leaders’ interest and support for it.
It was made with the contents urged.
Before and following the ‘Korea Night’ event, downtown Davos was filled with banners appealing for support for hosting the 2030 Busan Expo.
Domestic conglomerates, such as Hyundai Motor Company including the Busan Expo in the local Genesis promotion event, have also stepped up to support.
We started sales in Busan, emphasizing that Busan is also a good city to invest in, a good city to stay, work and enjoy.

Just before the Davos Forum, the city of Busan devoted all its efforts to attracting the expo by meeting with representatives from nine African countries in Paris, France, and appealing for support.
