Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) will be temporarily closed for two days starting tomorrow (18th) due to the prolonged strike of subcontractors.
The Daewoo Shipbuilding branch of the metallurgical union said that the decision was made as the process was stopped due to the occupation of the shipbuilding workshop by the subcontractor union.
Accordingly, about 570 workers, including block manufacturing and crane equipment operation, will be off work for two days.
