Bus passenger stranded in Los Libertadores: “The windows are freezing”

in conversation with 24 Hours Central, the young man recounted the anguished day they have had. He assured that they have not received any type of help from Carabineros or authorities.

“We are still on the bus without being able to get off without food, without water. There is no information, neither from Carabineros or anything”held.

He added that they are stranded “since 12 noon on the Chilean border. We have not received any help. We had a few loaves left and we ate them.”

Although he assured that customs personnel rescued a family that came in a car next to the bus with a child on board, he also affirmed that in their case, they have not received help or coordination to face the extremely low temperatures in the area. .

In a previous contact with channel 24 Hours, the same passenger had recounted other episodes that they have experienced during this day:
