Bus hits guardrail, 24 injured and one dead –

One dead and 24 injured in an accident on the A1 to a bus of Chinese tourists that hit a guardrail on the A1 in the province of Arezzo. The ASL Toscana Sud Est activated the plan for major emergencies. 14 ambulances, a medical car, a nursing car, a vehicle for managing major emergencies, Pegaso 2, two Fire Brigade helicopters, one from Bologna and two minibuses intervened on site. The injured were transported to the hospitals in Arezzo and Siena. In addition to the health workers, the firefighters, the Carabinieri, the traffic police and Autostrade per l’Italia staff were on site.
