(PLO)- A warehouse of about 200 tons of charcoal of a household in Quang Ngai burst into flames at midnight.
On the morning of February 20, the leader of the People’s Committee of Tinh An Dong commune, Quang Ngai city, Quang Ngai province, confirmed that a large fire had just occurred in the area, causing heavy property damage.

At about 22:30 on February 19, a fire broke out at Mrs. PTV’s charcoal warehouse (Binh Dang village, Tinh An Dong commune). Because the warehouse is mainly charcoal, nylon bags and combustible materials, in a short time, a big fire broke out.
Receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department and the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department mobilized forces and means to rescue and control the fire. By about 4 a.m. on February 20, the fire was basically under control.

The leader of Tinh An Dong Commune People’s Committee said that Ms. V’s coal warehouse contained about 200 tons of charcoal, so fire fighting was very difficult. By the morning of February 20, although the fire was basically under control but still smoldering, the fire department continued to make efforts to completely extinguish the fire.
The cause of the incident and the extent of the damage are currently under investigation by authorities.
