Burkina Faso: at least thirteen dead in an attack in the north of the country

The Burkinabè army announces the death of at least thirteen people during an attack on Monday January 30 in the north of Burkina Faso, reports AFP. In a press release, the general staff announces that gendarmes and army auxiliaries stationed in Falangoutou, in the Sahel region, “faced a terrorist attack on Monday followingnoon”. According to the provisional report of the staff, twelve soldiers and a civilian were killed.
