Burkina Faso: 18 dead, suspected of being attacked by jihadists | Life

On February 12, witnesses said there were at least 12 civilian deaths and six others were wounded in a suspected jihadist attack at dawn on February 10 in northwest Burkina Faso, a few kilometers from the Mali border.

Dozens of attackers attacked the village of Sanakadougou, located in Kombori commune, Kossi province. These subjects burned several houses and opened fire, causing many casualties. A witness said almost the entire village was devastated and people had to leave the area soon after to seek shelter.
