At the request of the Eupen public prosecutor’s office, the police are asking for a search notice to be issued following an attempt and burglary in Eupen.
On December 20, 2022 between 10:10 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. in Eupen, three individuals committed an attempted theft and two burglaries in businesses located in Gospertstraße. At one point, the perpetrators were filmed by surveillance cameras as they tried to force open a door.
The investigation revealed that the perpetrators had taken the train from Guillemins station in Liège to Eupen. They were then filmed walking around in different places in the station.
The first individual is of strong build and has a round face. He has dark hair shaved to the sides. At the time, he was dressed in black sports pants and a black hooded jacket with orange inserts. He was in possession of a small light gray shoulder bag.
The second individual is of normal build. He has dark hair and thick eyebrows. At the time of the events, he was wearing a black hooded jacket, black sports pants with white stripes, light sneakers and a black “Nike” branded beanie. He was in possession of a black rucksack with white “Kaytan” inscriptions.
The third individual is of normal build and has curly dark hair that is shorter at the sides. He has full lips. At the time of the events, he was wearing tricolor pants, matching his “Lacoste” brand training jacket with blue, white and black geometric patterns with the logo of a crocodile on the back.
